Shanghai
Area interiors is a joint Canadian-Chinese venture
dedicated to selling high-end European home furnishings.
The showroom took over an old tool factory from the
seventies, in the middle of Shanghai’s bustling
shopping district.
The design uses raised stages to draw the user to the
settings and deeper into the structure.
Epoxy floors throughout, muted lighring details, and
grand stone staircase create a backdrop for the
amazing design pieces being sold and highlight some
of the original and unique architectural elements of the
original structure.
